Shape and Line Thumbnails

Approx. Fucking forever

This is the worst assignment I've ever had to deal with, and apparently I will be getting several thousand more like it. "Express the words Despair, Quiet, etc. using only dots, or only lines. Make 180 thumbnails, 36 Discussion Roughs, and 12 finished, perfect executions." Class time - 2 hours... 2 sleepless nights. This pic is about 1/4 of the work.
